General Policies
Your stay includes a resort fee of $49.00 plus tax, per room, per night, which includes the following amenities and services:
- A complimentary bottle of Trinitas wine upon arrival
- Shuttle service to and from downtown Napa
- Two daily bottles of water in your room
- In-room coffee and tea
- Unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi across the property
- Unlimited local and toll-free calls
- 24/7 access to our fitness facilities and yoga studio (yoga mat rental available upon request)
- Alo Moves on-demand fitness and wellness classes
- Entry to our family-friendly and adults-only pools
Resort fee is subject to applicable occupancy, local, and state taxes. Guests must be 21 and older or accompanied by an adult.

Check-in begins at 4 p.m., and check-out is at 11 a.m.
Early check-ins are based on availability on the day of your arrival. Please contact our Front Desk team to inquire. Additional fees may apply.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted. We encourage you to explore our on-site dining options, including Olive & Hay, Ember Steak, Sora Napa, Blend Café, Fivetown Grocery, and more. Learn more about our Wine & Dine offerings below.
Smoking is not allowed in guestrooms or other interior spaces. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.
Reservations
Cancellation policies are dependent upon the rate that was selected during the booking process. Generally, reservations must be canceled at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid a charge of one night’s room rate and tax. Please refer to your confirmation letter as additional policies and restrictions may apply depending on the rate and room type selected.
We accept all major credit cards to pay for your room and to guarantee your stay. All reservations must be guaranteed with a card on file at check in. We do accept debit cards, however, the funds will be immediately withdrawn from your account. Any refunds upon checkout can take up to 5-10 business days.
Cash is accepted upon checkout only.
We charge the credit card on file a one-night deposit, plus resort fees and taxes, 72 hours before your arrival. Should you cancel prior to 72 hours, you will be refunded the full amount. If the card charged for the one-night deposit is not present at check-in, we will refund and authorize the credit card present at check-in. Some rates may require a full advance deposit, please refer to your confirmation letter for additional details.
Guests must present a government-issued photo ID or passport and a valid credit card to authorize for the full amount of your stay. An additional $100 per night will be authorized for incidentals. This charge will be removed upon check-out.
The minimum age requirement is 18. However, the complimentary bottle of wine included in the resort fee will be removed for guests under 21.

Rooms
Yes! All our rooms feature feather-free bedding (down alternative) for your comfort. We also offer select Pure Rooms, which offer an allergen-free environment. Please inform our team about any special requirements prior to your arrival.
Unfortunately, our rooms do not accommodate rollaway beds and we do not have any available on property.
We do have cribs available upon request at no additional cost.
Most of our suites and a select few of our standard guestrooms include a tub. Most guestrooms are furnished with showers. If a bathtub is essential, please contact us to ensure availability.
Maximum occupancy varies by room type. A king room can only accommodate 2 people, and the maximum in any room is 4 people.

All our guest rooms are equipped with Keurig coffee machines, replenished daily for your convenience.
Pure Rooms
Pure Rooms are designed for those prioritizing wellness and rejuvenation. Each Pure Room is equipped with a specialized air purification system and treated with several anti-microbial cleaning processes to kill bacteria and viruses. Pure Rooms also contain hypoallergenic bedding and specialized shower filters to remove heavy minerals from your shower water.
Our Pure Rooms are perfect for guests prioritizing wellness, seeking to limit exposure to allergens, or seeking peace of mind through enhanced air and surface purification during their visit. Pure Rooms are also known to promote better sleep and restoration.
Unfortunately, due to strict allergen-reduction protocols, dogs are not permitted in Pure Rooms. However, we do offer alternative pet-friendly accommodations.

Transportation & Directions
Yes, we offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from downtown Napa, seven days a week. The drop off and pick up point is at the corner of Third Street and Main Street. The shuttle departs from the resort from 4pm to 10pm on the hour. Downtown pick-ups run from 4:30pm to 9:30pm on weekdays and until 10:30pm on weekends.
Both self-parking and valet parking options are available. Self-parking is $15 per night, and valet service is $25 per night.
Yes, there are six EV charging stations available. Please note, a ChargePoint card is required for payment, and Tesla vehicles will need an adapter. Our valet team can assist with further details when you arrive.
We do not provide shuttle service from the airport, but we are happy to help set up private transportation. Please contact our online concierge for assistance.
The Meritage Resort & Spa is 60 miles away from the Sacramento International Airport, 55 miles away from the San Francisco International Airport, 47 miles away from the Oakland Airport, 40 miles away from the Sonoma County Airport, and 4 miles away from the Napa County Airport.
Pets
Yes, we are delighted to welcome dogs with their owners. Pets must not be left unattended in guestrooms. Please review our pet policy and learn more about traveling to The Meritage with your four-legged friends below.
Yes, there is a non-refundable pet fee of $100, which includes a plush Meritage Resort & Spa dog bed (for use during the stay only), a take-home dog bowl, and a pet amenity bag with treats and waste bags.
Shipping Packages
Yes, we can assist with shipments via UPS and FedEx only. Guests must provide pre-paid shipping labels and sealed packages. Please note that we are not able to create shipping labels, provide boxes, or accept opened packages from guests.
The resort cannot ship any alcohol directly. Should you desire to ship alcohol (wine only), our Concierge can assist with connecting you to a third-party vendor.
Yes, packages can be shipped to the resort just prior to your arrival or during your stay. For tracking purposes, please ship all packages to The Meritage Resort and Spa’s shipping and receiving department and include your name or the receiving guest’s name on the shipping label. Please note that the hotel is not liable for lost or damaged items.
